But Jenna is certainly not starved for affection. She receives attention from adoring employees and has become quite the conversation piece among hotel guests. Blatteau also gets more than the occasional request from the hotel concierge to shuttle guests in the golf cart to meet Jenna. Or vice versa.
“Most people like animals,” Blatteau said. “Having her around is something different. She’s definitely been an ice breaker.”
After less than a year on the job, it’s hard to imagine a time when Jenna wasn’t part of the Oak Brook Hills Hotel & Resort family. Jenna has received high marks from her supervisors and praise from her peers. The word is, she’s a keeper.
“She’s the best solution for the geese problem of everything I’ve seen in my 15 years in the Chicago area,” Blatteau said.
